Hide and Seek by Frederique Daubal
'Hide and Seek' is a series of photographs where the models wear masks made of sliced up pages from fashion magazines. The masks resemble Muslim niqābs and the project is a statement on identity, transformation and what it means to be French today.
I love this. It made me look and really caught my interest. Really like the idea of using something as commercial as fashion magazines to represent a deeper more serious meaning.
