Lee Never wasted Designed by Happy

“With the relevance of eco-friendly initiatives increasing every day, Lee wanted an innovative solution that would display their affiliation towards the same and also spread the message amongst their customers.

To drive the message home in a fun and effective way, we went for something a bit more inventive than just a bag made of recycled paper. The ‘Never Wasted’ shopping bag that can be reused in one way or another. Some for fun, some for function, but nothing ever goes into the trash. Not only did this make the idea long-lasting and interactive but also conveyed the message in a fascinating manner. Word spread, footfall increased and the initial production of 3000 bags went on to another 10,000.”

Lovely idea, however i'm not sure the execution is the best it could of been.

The range willl include orange,in ‘with bits’ and ‘smooth’ both available in 900ml and 1.35L sizees and a debut an apple juice recipe in a 900ml size. Its smoothies will remain in cartons. Innocent believes that the new carafes will have greater standout in the chilled juice aisle, that they will be easier for UK consumers to use and convenient to recycle. Really nice - i love the way innocent have kept their charm.

Vintage posters: Inspiration for colour pallets.

Lately I’ve been looking at vintage and contemporary posters, illustrations and advertisements for inspiration, in particular at the bold, complementary color palettes used during that period. I even based my new blog, www.behoff.com’s, color palette and typography from a few vintage posters I came across. Lovely Posters, i particularly like the Simpsons and Sex and the City.

The Beauty of Speed

Lovely images. It reminds me of when I recreate this effect with sparklers on Bonfire night.

Mulberry does Valentine's with digital flowers

Fans of luxury goods brand Mulberry can send their loved one a unique gift this Valentine's day – generative digital flowers that grow before their eyes. Mulberry's digital consultant Ross Phillips commissioned Daniel Brown to create the project, called Love Blossoms. Users register online, choose a pattern from Mulberry's Spring Summer 2011 collection and add a personalised message. Come February 14, a digital seed will be sent to the object of their affections via email. Once the link is opened, the seed grows into a unique bunch of flowers, the patterns of which are generated from the Mulberry prints. The generative process is similar to that used by Brown in his installation for Decode, the V&A's digital art show last year. All the flowers will be unique to each user and can be shared as images via Twitter and Facebook.

Multifunctional tables

Multifunctional Tables and Desks. Take this table called Doppelleben. As its name suggests, it has a ‘double life’: Play on top, work below. The tabletop consists of two layers. If you need to use the lower layer, you can slide two lightweight panels down the sides. And when the work is done (or is safe to be interrupted), the panels come up creating a surface for dining and entertaining. This working/dining combo is merely a suggestion, of course. You can use the lower layer tabletop as a bookshelf, a utensil storage, a display for your collectables, or in any way you see fit.
